One Chef’s Hat chef Frank Camorra is one of Australia’s most celebrated culinary personality and, owner of the MoVida stable of restaurants. Born in Barcelona and raised in Melbourne, Frank was a trained architect before he found his calling in the kitchen and eventually, he traded in his pencils for knives.
MoVida was inspired by Frank’s travels around Spain while working as a chef and it represents the vibrancy of his homeland, Córdoba. His cuisine seamlessly combines modern and traditional touches of Spanish cuisine, recreating the Spain’s dynamic tapas culture down under. With an emphasis on using the best ingredients at their seasonal peak, he brings out their pure flavours through a juxtapose of old and new cooking techniques.
